"In Brive for a business meeting for a few days. such a cute little town with many quaint streets full of shops and stores and restaurants. The funny thing is 95% of the town closes after 6 p.m., even on a Friday night. It's nice to walk the quiet lovely streets, but most of the places open in the evening seem a little bit more like a drinking scene. Luckily I was recommended this restaurant so definitely went there after walking around awhile and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I like the fixed price menu concept, very reasonable with appetizer, entree and dessert, equally reasonable adding a delicious glass of house red wine. There were only a few tables occupied when I got there but over the next hour a good 30 people came in, and it remained cosy and intimate despite the crowd. The food was really excellent."

"We have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions over a long period of time - over a decade - and it never fails. There are no egos here, just very professional owners and staff who's only goal is to look after their customers impeccably. A broad menu interesting twists, cooked properly and to your request, efficient, friendly and unobtrusive service and very good value for money."

"The food was excellent and well cooked however I have a slight issue with how it's served. Main dishes really need to be on plates and not in bowls! It's very difficult to eat out of a bowl with a knife and fork!! Additionally some of them (especially the large salads) would look so much more appetising if presented better on a bigger and flatter plate rather than squashed into a small bowl."

"We had booked a table at hopening time, and the experience was very nice... Until the restaurant filled up and both the kitchen and service started running behind...Maybe they were looking forward to the holidays, maybe they were understaffed, but after the mains, things started going down, which is very unfortunate since the starters and the mains were absolutely excellent! Food : great, and 5* Service : good, then got overrun..."
